Koşk Vocational School

Köşk Vocational School was established in Köşk district, which is 19 km away from Aydın Center. The school has a Food Processing Department, Management and Organization Department. In the 2013-2014 academic year, 80 students were accepted to the Food Quality Control and Analysis Program within the Food Processing Department and 200 students were accepted to the Logistics Program within the Management and Organization Department and education started. Currently; there are 3 academic staff in the Food Quality Control and Analysis Program, 3 academic staff in the Food Technology Program, 3 academic staff in the Logistics Program and 3 academic staff in the Local Administrations Program.

After the examination of the proposal of Rectorate of Adnan Menderes University about the foundation of Köşk Vocational School in Köşk district of Aydın province in the General Meeting of Higher Education which was held on 05.05.2011 and the proposal was approved according to the 7/d-2 article of the law numbered 2547 which was revised by the law numbered 2880. The act of education and training has started in the 2013-2014 academic year.

Our mission, within the framework of cooperation with the sector, is to raise individuals who are equipped to adapt to today's information age, who are qualified, rational, contemporary and investigative, creative, self-confident, analytical, committed to ethical values, professionally competent, and with a high level of responsibility awareness.

Our vision is to be a pioneering and respected Vocational School that is a leader with the knowledge it will produce, is nationally and internationally recognized and whose graduates are preferred, contributes to the social and cultural development of our region and country, and maximizes sector and university cooperation with its research and applications.

Kösk Vocational School which is going to give associate training aims to educate interposers qualified in vocational and technical field in that he/she can contribute the preservation and the developmet of public health, who knows his/her duties and responsibilities to his/her country in line with Atatürk's principles and revolutions, can think independently and scientificly, can present technology for the benefit of society. Educating the qualified specialist personnel whom industry and service sector need is also included in our goals. Whatsmore, the school with its scientific researches in the field and with the projects it leads will contribute the development of vocational and technical education. The graduates may have opportunity to be employed in the state and the private sector whereas they can be employed in the industry and service sectors.

Our vocational school has 4150 m2 indoor area and 9000 m2 outdoor area. Furthermore, there are 1 basketball court, 1 volleyball court and carpet football field.

There are 12 classrooms, 2 practice labrotory, 1 PC labrotory, 6 amphi halls, 1 meeting room, 1 seminar room, 1 multi-purpose hall, 1 library, 1 lobby and 6 lecturer rooms.
