Söke Vocational School of Health Services

General Information

Söke Health Services Vocational School includes the Operating Room Services Program, First and Emergency Aid Program, and Medical Imaging Techniques Program under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, as well as the Home Patient Care Program under the Department of Health Care Services.

Söke Vocational School of Health Services;
Söke Health Services Vocational School was opened in 1994-1995 Academic Year with the decision taken at the meeting of the Executive Board of Higher Education on 16.03.1993.

With the decision taken at the meeting of Higher Education Executive Board on 13.04.2011, Operating Room Services, First and Emergency Aid and Medical Imaging Techniques Programs were opened under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques in 2011-2012 academic year. In the 2012 academic year, 30 students have started their education with a quota.

With the decision taken in the meeting of the General Assembly of Higher Education on 05.04.2012, the second education of the First and Emergency Assistance Program of the Department of Medical Services and Techniques has been opened in the academic year of 2012-2013 and the training has been started with the quota of 30 students.

With the decision taken at the meeting of the Executive Board of Higher Education on 13.02.2013, it is deemed appropriate to open Home Patient Care and Elderly Care programs under the Health Care Services Department.

With the decision taken at the meeting of the Executive Board of Higher Education, dated 05.04.2017, it is deemed appropriate to open the Health Tourism Management program under the Management and Organization Department.

Our school continues to provide education in the Söke Business School building in Söke, Aydın.

Our mission is to train intermediate staff with the knowledge and skills required by the healthcare sector and to provide the necessary training environment for this by providing training at an international level and in line with developments in healthcare in the sectors of Home Patient Care, Operating Room Services, Medical Imaging Techniques and First and Emergency Aid.

To be a pioneering educational institution that possesses the knowledge and skills required by the age, is innovative and sharing, constantly cooperates with the health sector, closely follows developments at international standards, is preferred among the relevant programs of Vocational Schools, provides education by integrating with the society, creates an environment where the current situation of the region in the field of health is strengthened, and is proud to be a member.

Our goals include increasing the academic activities of faculty members each year, increasing the number of collaborations and events in scientific activities, increasing the joint research activities of faculty members and students, increasing the competence and satisfaction of faculty members, improving the quality and efficiency of education, expanding the fields and functionalities of education and practice, and increasing the quantity and quality of administrative staff.

Dado que la Escuela de Servicios de Salud de Söke no cuenta con un edificio propio, los servicios de docencia y formación se imparten en el Bloque A de la Facultad de Administración de Empresas de Söke. Las clases teóricas se desarrollan en dos aulas con capacidad para 80 estudiantes y cinco aulas con capacidad para 48 estudiantes. Los trámites administrativos se llevan a cabo en el despacho del director, dos despachos de vicerrectores, el despacho de un jefe de departamento, cuatro salas de profesores, la secretaría de la escuela, la oficina de asuntos estudiantiles y la oficina de finanzas. Hay una sala de reuniones compartida con la Facultad de Administración de Empresas de Söke, un salón de actos con capacidad para 100 personas y una biblioteca. También hay tres laboratorios de formación profesional donde se imparten las prácticas.

Söke Faculty of Business Administration has one dining hall in Block A and a 100 m² student cafeteria in the garden.
All computers, including those in faculty and administrative staff offices, are connected to the internet.
All classrooms are equipped with projectors.
Students throughout the university are provided with free Wi-Fi, digital content, and exam access through OBİS (Student Information System) and ADÜZEM (Distance Education Platform).
