The foundation of ADÜ Buharkent Vocational School was laid in 2001 and the rough construction of the school building was completed in 2011. Approved by the Council of Higher Education in 2014, Buharkent Vocational School began its education life with two programs: Office Management and Executive Assistant Program and Call Services Center Program under the Department of Office Services and Secretarial Affairs. In 2015, the Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program under the Department of Electricity and Energy was added to these programs. The Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program, Office Management and Executive Assistant Program in the 2016-2017 academic year, the Child Development Program in the 2017-2018 academic year, and the Polymer Technology Program admitted its first students in the 2023-2024 academic year. Buharkent Vocational School continues its education and training activities with a total of 524 students, 210 in the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program, 92 in the Call Center Services Program, 117 in the Child Development Program, 31 in the Polymer Technology Program, and 74 in the Renewable Energy Technician Program, 17 academic staff, and 7 administrative staff.
