Cine Vocational School

Çine Vocational School is located in the Çine district of Aydın. The school offers education and training in the fields of food and agriculture. It began operations in the 1994–1995 academic year with programs in Livestock Farming, Beekeeping, and the Meat Industry. The college comprises three departments: Plant and Animal Production, Food Processing, and Finance/Banking and Insurance. There are a total of 692 enrolled students at our college. Following a modern approach tailored to the conditions of our country and the region, our college trains intermediate technical personnel who learn while producing within the framework of university-industry-producer cooperation; who are equipped to meet the needs of the modern era; who act in accordance with professional ethics; and who do not shy away from taking responsibility. The College has practical training facilities where students can produce various food products and raise small livestock. Students also receive hands-on training at various food and agriculture-related companies operating in the region.

The vocational school which related to animal breeding was opened in Çine because of high potential of animal raising. Thus, Çine Vocational School began academic education in 13.10.1994 in Primary School of Osman Kalkan by a protocol signed with University and local management and approved by Ministry of Education on 15.09.1994. School continued education in 3 programmes (Apiculture, Meat Industry and Fattening) from 1994 to 2005 in this primary school. Çine Vocational School moved to a new campus which at the entrance to the direction of the Cine District Aydin in 2005 and is named Süleyman Pekgüzel campus. Meat and Meat Products Evening Programme, Milk and Dairy Technology Programme and Food Technology Programme were started to education in 2005-2006. Also Olive Cultivation and Olive Oil Processing Technology Programme was started to education in 2006-2007; Organic Agriculture Programme in 2001-2012 and Agricultural Management Programme in 2012-2013. In 2025, the Digital Agriculture Technologies Program was launched and began accepting students. Following the closure of some programs, the College currently offers the following programs: Dairy and Dairy Products Technology, Food Technology, and Food Quality Control and Analysis programs within the Food Processing Department, the Banking and Insurance program in the Finance/Banking and Insurance Department, and the Organic Agriculture and Digital Agriculture Technologies Program in the Plant and Animal Production Department.

Çine Vocational School aims to educate qualified technicians which have producing when learning, have adequte facilities, behave in accordance with professional ethics, desired characteristics of the sector and responsibility. Also, school is in the effort for power added of science, culture and art of region, ensuring of he understand of univertiy in the region and provide the student satisfaction (better education, study, art, sport and acoommodation).

Having similar programs in the vocational school to be preferred a ‘’brand program’’. Following and using the professional developments, recognizing the relevant industry, training the qualified staff preferred by the ındustry. By providing the most productive way of practical training,making the students equipped in every respect. In the future, the students are employed to ensure to keep the communication alive with businesses.

Çine Vocational School has 4220 m2 closed and 207120 m2 open area. 11 clasrooms and 1 amp (projection aided), 1 computer room, 1 food quality control labrotory, 1 Apiculture Unit, 2 Small Ruminant Breeding Units, 1 Cattle Breeding Unit, 1 Meat and Meat Products Processing Unit, 1 Dairy Products Processing Unit, 1 Bakery Products Processing Unit, 1 Fruit-Vegetable/Olive Processing Unit, 1 Olive Garden and Green House, 2 Labrotories, 1 library, 1 Student Cafeteria and 1 Girl Student Guest House (40 capasity) are exist.

Student affairs system, Academic information system, Budget alloacations system, Recording and tracking of goods transported system and editorial automation system are using in our school Also, 20 computers, 7 laptops, 8 projections, 2 fotocopy machines, 1 fax, 1 camera, 10 printer, 1 scanner exist.
