General Information

Aydın Adnan Menderes University Nazilli Health Services Vocational School was opened in the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Board on 16.03.1993, in addition to the protocol signed with the Ministry of Health on 10.9.1992, regarding the opening of Health Services Vocational Schools in Health Vocational High Schools in the 1994-1995 and 1995-1996 academic years.
Nazilli Vocational School of Health Services is located on the Nazilli-Bozdoğan highway within the Sümer Campus, formerly known as the Nazilli Sümerbank Factory. The building consists of two blocks: a two-story and a single-story. The unit is located on the Sümer Campus of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Seven dedicated lecture halls with a capacity of 110 students are also available for campus use, along with a conference hall with a capacity of 220 students and a central library. Clinical skills training is provided in the Health Care Services and Therapy and Rehabilitation Laboratories, each with a capacity of 60 people, located in the additional laboratory building of the school. Additionally, a 60-student Podiatry Laboratory is located in the building (Block B) housing the school's classrooms. The unit employs 13 academic and 8 administrative staff.

The issue of accepting students (with additional quotas) for the 2010-2011 Academic Year was reviewed by the Council of Higher Education at its General Assembly Meeting held on August 26, 2010. In accordance with Articles 7/d-2 and 7/h of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, and Article 4 of Law No. 3843, it was deemed appropriate to open the "Elderly Care Program (N.Ö) (Normal Education)" program first. The "Elderly Care Program (Evening Education)" program was opened on April 5, 2012, and students were admitted for the 2012-2013 Academic Year. The "Home Patient Care Program (N.Ö) and P.Ö" program was opened on September 12, 2013, and students were admitted for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
The "Physiotherapy Program N.Ö." was opened on April 2, 2014. The program's Therapy and Rehabilitation Laboratory was prepared in 2020. Student admission to the program began in the 2021-2022 academic year. Additionally, the "Podology Program N.Ö." was opened on March 4, 2020. Student admission to this program began in the 2024-2025 academic year, and a total of 22 students have qualified for the program.

A total of 1,416 students have enrolled at the college in the last five years, and 975 have graduated. As of the 2025-2026 academic year, a total of 624 students are enrolled in the Elderly Care Program, Home Patient Care, Physiotherapy, and Podiatry Programs.

In the 2021–2022 academic year, 345 students enrolled.
In the 2022–2023 academic year, 316 students enrolled.
In the 2023–2024 academic year, 329 students enrolled.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, 218 students enrolled.
In the 2025–2026 academic year, 208 students enrolled.
A total of 3,341 students have enrolled in our vocational school.

It aims to train qualified healthcare technicians with contemporary knowledge, skills, and ethical values, who are committed to lifelong learning, sensitive to public health, and equipped with a practice-oriented education approach, in order to meet the growing demand for health and care services in society.

To become a nationally and internationally recognized vocational school that supports scientific knowledge production and professional practices in the field of healthcare services, where graduates make a difference in the sector, by providing an ethical, innovative, and participatory educational environment.

Our goals include increasing the academic activities of faculty members each year, increasing the number of collaborations and events in scientific activities, increasing the joint research activities of faculty members and students, increasing the competence and satisfaction of faculty members, improving the quality and efficiency of education, expanding the fields and functionalities of education and practice, and increasing the quantity and quality of administrative staff.

Nazilli Health Services Vocational School is located on the Sümer Campus and has laboratory, classroom and social area facilities where students can turn their theoretical knowledge into practical skills. The current laboratories have a total capacity of 161 students and an area of ??480 m². The Health Care Laboratory has a capacity of 55 students and an area of ??160 m², the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratory has a capacity of 56 students and an area of ??160 m², and the Podology Laboratory has a capacity of 50 students and an area of ??160 m². Laboratories are designed to support students' active learning in practical courses. Each laboratory is equipped with equipment appropriate to the professional requirements of the relevant program.
Laboratory Capacity and Equipment: Three laboratories are available. The Health Care Services Laboratory has a capacity of 55 students. The laboratory is equipped with enema and oral care kits, nebulizers, aspirators, air mattresses, respiratory support devices, protective covers, gloves, feeding and medication administration devices, personal care products (loofahs, pouches, and caps), wound care supplies, colostomy equipment, thermometers, stethoscopes, thermometers, oxygen cannulas, and airway sets.
The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratory has a capacity of 56 students. Laboratory equipment includes a TENS device, hydrotherapy chamber, infrared device, hot pack, paraffin chamber, stimulation device, whirlpool device, massage beds, parallel bars, exercise ladder, dumbbell sets (2–3–4 kg), shoulder wheels, and basic physical therapy equipment.
The Podiatry Laboratory has a capacity of 50 students. The laboratory is equipped with milling bits and diamond grinders, surgical cutting and holding instruments, podological special forceps, supporting tools, podology unit and sterilization equipment.

Shared Campus Facilities

Classrooms: 13 (9 active); total indoor space of 1,660 m².
Equipment: 9 projectors, 7 computer towers, 14 whiteboards, and 420 student desks.
Conference Hall: 220 m², 180-seat capacity, equipped with projector and sound system.
Recreational Areas: Sümer Cafe, green areas, shaded seating, and walking paths.
Sports Area: 500 m² outdoor basketball/volleyball court, 250 m walking track, table tennis, and chess courts.
Library: 85 m² Sümer Library (approximately 2,800 resources), individual and group study areas. The ADÜ Central Library is also open 24/7.

There is an eating room, and 450 m2 student cafeteria in the campus. There internet access is available through each computer for teaching and managerial staffs.
All classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers.
Students throughout the university are provided with free Wi-Fi, digital content, and exam access through OBİS (Student Information System) and ADÜZEM (Distance Education Platform).
