Sultanhisar Vocational School

Bitkisel ve Hayvansal Üretim Bölümü tarım sektörünün ihtiyaç duyduğu, işçi ve mühendis arasında yer alan, teknik personel ihtiyacını karşılamak amacıyla kurulmuştur. Bölüm; Fidan Yetiştiriciliği, Mantarcılık, Tıbbi ve Aromatik Bitkiler (ÖÖ ve İÖ) Bitki Koruma Programları olmak üzere 4 alt programa ayrılmaktadır.

Bitki Koruma programı 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim döneminde açılmıştır

İnsanların ihtiyaç duyduğu ürünlerin yetiştirilmesinde, üretim aşamasında üründe ortaya çıkabilecek olumsuz etkilerden (hastalıklar, böcekler, yabancı otlar vb.) korunması ve üretimde kalitenin yükseltilmesi konusunda tarım sektörünün nitelikli ara eleman ihtiyacını karşılamaktır.

Meslek etiğini benimsemiş, tarım sektöründe başarılı ara eleman yetiştirmektir.

Ülkemiz ve yöre koşullarına göre çağdaş bir eğitim-öğretim veren bölümümüz; üniversite-sanayici-üretici işbirliği çerçevesinde öğrenirken üreten, çağın gereksinimlerine yanıt verebilecek donanıma sahip, meslek etiğine uygun davranan, sektörü iyi tanıyan ve sektörün aradığı niteliklere de sahip, gelişen teknolojiyi takip edebilme ve bilgiye ulaşabilme yeteneğine sahip sorumluluk almaktan kaçınmayan teknik elemanlar yetiştirmektedir.

Yüksekokulumuzda Cevdet İnci Bloğu ve Şefik Çerçioğlu Bloğunun bulunduğu yerleşke ile Ahmet Hakkı Balcıoğlu kampüsü olmak üzere 2 (iki) ayrı yerleşkede toplam 4315 m² kapalı alan, 9260 m² açık alanımız mevcuttur. Bu alan 14 adet Sınıf, 2 adet Amfi, 1 adet Bilgisayar Laboratuvarı, 3 adet Araştırma ve Uygulama Laboratuvarları, 1 adet Toplantı Salonu, 1 adet Konferans Salonu, 1 adet Konferans Binası (Konferans Salonu ve Fuaye Alanı), 4 adet Uygulama Seraları, 1 adet Uygulama Alanı, 3 adet Uygulama Atölyeleri, 1 adet Açık Spor Alanı, 1 adet Toplantı Salonu, 1 adet Açık Hava Amfi Tiyatro Alanı, 1 adet Kapalı Spor Alanı, 1 adet Kantin, 1 adet Misafirhane (Konuk Öğretim Elemanları Odası), 13 adet Akademik Personel Çalışma Odası, 7 adet İdari Personel Çalışma Odası, 1 adet Öğrenci ve Personel Yemekhanesi, 1 adet Ambar ve 1 adet Arşiv olarak düzenlenmiştir.

Yüksekokulda 1 adet bilgisayar laboratuvarı (40 adet bilgisayarlı), 5 adet araştırma ve uygulama laboratuvarı, 3 adet uygulama atölyesi bulunmaktadır. Uygulama alanında toplamda 1260 m² sera, 5000 m² uygulama sahası ve okul bahçesi vardır. Eğitim Öğretim faaliyetinin yürütüldüğü tüm sınıflarda projeksiyon cihazı, perdesi ve bilgisayar bulunmaktadır.

Technician

Students qualify to graduate end of two years / four semesters which is normal academic year when reached 120 ECTS after fulfilling their responsibilities taking place in course curriculum

Pursuant to instructions of Board of Higher Education " Regulations Concerning Transfer Between Higher Education Institutions Undergraduate and Graduate " , from equivalent educational programs to Associate Degree Programs of universities contained in guide of OSYM and foreign universities recognized by YOK can be transferred according to level transfer rules .

Students who successfully complete this program, Associate Degree in Plant Protection (Associate of Arts) degree are entitled to.

The admissions of students to the programs are made according to the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM – University entrance exam) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (YOK). After students inform the Student Selection and Placement Center about what programs they want to study at, students are placed in the related programs according to their scores they got from the exam.

The students of Sultanhisar Vocational School may be exempt from some courses within the framework of certain regulations. If course content from another institution is appropriate and relevant to the one in Sultanhisar Vocational School, the course content would be approved by the board of directors of the Sultanhisar Vocational School, so that the students may be exempted from this course.

To complete the available courses in the program (a total of 120 ECTS) successfully, all of students who enrolled have to get at least 60 points from the lessons. Students are also required internship in a specified time (30 business days) to complete the teaching and training period.
